Questions & Answers
- Upper case of a color refers to the Color list, lower case refers to all shades of that color - they're tagged 'hue: (color)'. Colors and shades are linked appropriately.
- Can I complete a Palette multiple times? Yes, as long as none of the Colors are a repeat of the former time (unless you're doing a Retouch of that Color)
- Can a completed Color count to more than one Palette? Yes, as long as they're different palettes.
- Do Paint-by-Numbers, Bichromatics, and Tapestries count toward Palettes? Absolutely, yes they do. Only Saturations don't count for Palettes
- Do specialty colors like 'Golden Globes' count as 'gold' for palettes? No, sorry. Specialty colors are Custom Colors and don't count for palette accomplishments.
- For the National Flag or Pride Flag palettes, do the colors have to be the base colors or can it be any shade? It can be any shade; for example if you did the USA flag (red, white, and blue), you could use Scarlet, Angel Cake, and Ultramarine
- How does upgrading a Palette work? Complete each Palette in turn and then go to the upgrade. Once the whole series is done, you can go back to the beginning and start again. You may have to do a Retouch of colors to do a Palette series multiple times. For example, Bookshelf (4 literary colors) upgrades to Bookcase (5 more literary colors) which upgrades to Library (6 more literary colors). After completing Library, you'd go back to Bookshelf.
