Theme: Emotions
  1. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.
  2. In the night of death, hope sees a star, and listening love can hear the rustle of a wing.
  3. To live in hearts we leave behind / Is not to die.
  4. He who has gone, so we but cherish his memory, abides with us, more potent, nay, more present than the living man.
  5. For some moments in life there are no words.
  6. Thou hast but taken up thy lamp and gone to bed
  7. And he will make the face of heav'n so fine
  8. For death is no more than a turning of us over from time to eternity.
  9. And I would ask, who were you?
  10. Mourning is not forgetting... It is an undoing.
  11. You do not see the river of mourning because it lacks one tear of your own.

  21. Here is one of the worst things about having someone you love die: It happens again every single morning.

  25. You never had her, so you haven't lost her / like spare house keys.
  26. Shall we mourn here deedless forever a shadow-folk mist-haunting dropping vain tears in the thankless sea.
  27. I think clapping is how hands mourn.
  28. Light, dark, light. The dark was just an interval.
  29. There is a period for hope and one for mourning.
  30. The pain passes, but the beauty remains.
